Drinking Herbal tea

May I still drink beer or liquor?

Generally you can still drink your favourite drinks, but you should limit yourself to drink it occasionaly. A glass of beer contains 220 calories, so a good alternative is a small glass of red wine, which contains healthy resveratrol and only about 80 calories.

How much water should I drink?

One of the most important things you can do when dieting is to drink enough water. You should normally drink three to four 8-ounce glasses of water per day. (about 2 liters). You will find that your afternoon fatigue is often due to dehydration and will improve by paying attention to your water intake. If you are exercising or the weather is hot, drinking water is even more important, as you lose it through sweating.

Tea and coffee don't count toward your water intake because they cause your kidneys to excrete more water than they contain. You can however drink the Thermojetics Herbal Beverage, or add some Herbal Aloe Concentrate to your water.

May I still eat my favourite dishes?

Yes, you may still eat your favourite dishes. This is one of the great advantages of Herbalife. You should limit yourself however and it's preferred to eat nutritional and balanced meals. An occasional pizza however is no problem at all.

Eat lots of vegetables, salads and fruit to improve your general health and to quicken your weight loss.

It's good to know that a large order of french fries contains over 500 calories, a large slice of pizza contains about 300 calories and a typical 3 ounce candy bar over 450! Compare this to a cup of spinach, which contains about 40 calories, about the same as an average kiwi fruit.

I follow the programme, but I'm (sometimes) still hungry. What should I do?

Everybody is different, and some people may find that they are still hungry, despite using the products correctly. In that case you should consider adding the Protein Supplement Powder to your shakes. If you're still hungry it is often caused by a lack of protein.

I've reached my goal and have the right weight, what should I do now?

First of all: congratulations. It is very important to keep this healthy weight and not to gain weight again. You've made a good start by using Herbalife, now continue using the products for as many months as it took you to loose your weight. There's one big difference: only eat one shake every day, and eat two other meals. Keep using the tablets three times a day (or as recommended on the label).

Your body now has the time to get used to its new metabolism. Keep measuring and if - for some reason - you gain again, immediately start using two shakes a day like you used to when on the weight loss programme until you're back where you wanted to be.

We advice you to eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and always drink at least your 8 glasses of water a day. If you follow this advice you won't gain weight.
